Melissa Giles is the Project lead with BC Rent Bank, a Vancity Community Foundation project funded by the Province of BC focused on supporting the development of provincial rent bank system.  She has almost 20 years of experience working in the non-profit sector, both domestically and internationally, and is passionate about social justice and housing affordability issues. Upon recognizing the value of collaboration at a Provincial level, Melissa began to see an opportunity to connect with rent banks across Canada, and is pleased to be a member of the National Rent Bank Coalition (NRBC).
