Siobhán Saravanamuttu

Siobhán Saravanamuttu is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Politics at York University. Her dissertation involves tracing the politics of historic and contemporary forms of eugenic institutionalization and vocational rehabilitation as mechanisms for regulating disability and the family. Her work brings together feminist-of-colour disability theory, feminist political economy, critical social policy, and abolitionist anti-work perspectives.
